We had never seen a more beautiful place as the Chewelah Valley, located 50 miles North of Spokane Washington, and so decided THIS was where we wanted to farm!

The soil is like a new package of brownie mix and the meandering  Colville River our water source. With these key "ingredients" you cannot produce a bad crop of hay!

Planted in 2002-2003 our new Alfalfa/Timothy Grass Hay sprung up and we soon entered it into both Spokane & Colville Fairs.  Our crop took first place and we were off and running!
